Wow! Can you believe it is almost the holiday season? In just a few short weeks, most of us will all be eating turkey, holiday shopping, wrapping presents, and singing “Tis the season to be jolly. . .” It’s hard to believe, considering the leaves have only just begun to fall and last week it was 70 degrees! And I don’t know about all of you, but the general busyness that autumn always seems to bring causes the holidays to sneak up on me every year! Autumn certainly has a way of giving new meaning to that old adage from Job about God being in the whirlwind!
Enjoy a fabulous house tour and quilt show in delightful Hopewell Borough this holiday season on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. And join us at HUMC for a concert after the tour. Proceeds from tour tickets go to benefit Family Promise, an outreach to local homeless families.
“A Visit to Candy Cane Lane” is the theme for the annual Christmas Bazaar being held from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Avenue in Hopewell.
The church bazaar features gifts, crafts and hand-made goodies made by our members and friends.
