Collection Drive to Help Our Neighbors in Need

The Hopewell Community Closet is partnering with the non-profit Educational Advocates Reaching Today’s Hardworking Students to help families living below the poverty line by collecting toiletries and household cleaning supplies.

Thank You! Disaster Relief Buckets Packed and On the Way!

In response to the many recent natural disasters in the U.S. and elsewhere, the Hopewell Council of Churches conducted a collection for cleaning supplies and packaged 30 relief buckets during the Church Has Left the Building Day on Sunday, Nov 5.

Defying Gravity: New Sermon Series on Stewardship

This week Pastor Kate Hillis began a new sermon series titled “Defying Gravity: Breaking Free From a Culture of More,” which will focus on stewardship. The four-message series will continue through November, culminating on our Commitment Sunday worship experience on Nov. 26. In “Discovering Gravity,” the kickoff message in the series, Pastor Kate examines why our “stuff” has such a strong hold on us.
