Pastor Kate Hillis presented a sermon series titled “Defying Gravity: Breaking Free From a Culture of More,” focusing on stewardship in November 2017. In “Discovering Gravity,” the kickoff message in the series, Pastor Kate examines why our “stuff” has such a strong hold on us.

Craft Bazaar at Hopewell United Methodist Church Is Set for December 2

 “A Visit to Candy Cane Lane” is the theme for the annual Christmas Bazaar being held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Avenue in Hopewell. The Bazaar features gifts, crafts and hand-made goodies made by our members and friends.

Collection Drive to Help Our Neighbors in Need

The Hopewell Community Closet is partnering with the non-profit Educational Advocates Reaching Today’s Hardworking Students to help families living below the poverty line by collecting toiletries and household cleaning supplies.

In response to the many recent natural disasters in the U.S. and elsewhere, the Hopewell Council of Churches conducted a collection for cleaning supplies and packaged 30 relief buckets during the Church Has Left the Building Day on Sunday, Nov 5.
