Book Club Sets Summer Reading Choices

Do you enjoy reading? We have an active book study group of people who love reading the same novel (or other book) and gathering to discuss the theme and issues raised. Books are announced in the church newsletter and weekly bulletin giving ample time for reading and the group gets together once per month in the evening to discuss the book of the month.

We have some good reads coming up over the next few months in Book Talk and would love to have you join us in any or all of the discussions. Take a look at our schedule below. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 pm. Hope to see you there some time.

June 20th we will be discussing the book by SQuire Rushnell called Divine Alignment. It’s one of the books from his ‘When God Winks’ series. To learn more about this book follow this link to the book trailer

July 18th we will be discussing the book by Fredrik Backman called, A Man Called Ove. Ove is a man that will make you laugh, sometimes cry and maybe help yousee that even old curmudgeons can be lovable. For more about this book, follow the link to the book trailer

Watch up & coming bulletins and newsletters for more books.

We often have the book club books available on the library book cart in the Sun Room.

We hope you can join us for any or all of these dates. In addition to our discussion time we always open with prayer concern time as well.

The group is open to all readers. For more information, contact the church at 609-466-0471.

Happy Reading! Sue Esche, Book Talk coordinator
