Craft Bazaar at Hopewell United Methodist Church Is Set for December 2

 “A Visit to Candy Cane Lane” is the theme for the annual Christmas Bazaar being held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Avenue in Hopewell. The Bazaar features gifts, crafts and hand-made goodies made by our members and friends.

Women’s Retreat for April 2018 Planned

The Hopewell Women’s Retreat, focusing on the theme, “Keeping Our Joy in the Midst of Turmoil,”  will be held April 6-8, 2018 at the Port-O-Call Hotel in Ocean City, NJ. Invite your friends and family. Pay for your friend’s retreat as a holiday gift idea!

Collection Drive to Help Our Neighbors in Need

The Hopewell Community Closet is partnering with the non-profit Educational Advocates Reaching Today’s Hardworking Students to help families living below the poverty line by collecting toiletries and household cleaning supplies.

Thank You! Disaster Relief Buckets Packed and On the Way!

In response to the many recent natural disasters in the U.S. and elsewhere, the Hopewell Council of Churches conducted a collection for cleaning supplies and packaged 30 relief buckets during the Church Has Left the Building Day on Sunday, Nov 5.

Upcoming Hopewell UMC Open Mic Nights – Nov 3 & Dec 1

The Hopewell UMC Open Mic Nights for the next two months are set for Friday, Nov. 3 and Friday, Dec. 1. Doors open at 6:30 pm and special “Kids Mic” project from 7 pm to 8 pm. Beginners and advanced musicians are welcome as well as anyone who just wants to listen and support the musicians!

Esperanza for Puerto Rico

United Methodists in GNJ have many close ties to our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico. Working with the Methodist Church in Puerto Rico we are developing special resourcing and support for those in need after Hurricane Maria.
