The Hopewell Council of Churches is coordinating a community-wide service event called “The Church Has Left The Building,” which helps to feed and minister to many people in our community.
Congregations will not be in Sunday morning worship, but we will be leaving our buildings on this special day to be the hands and feet of Jesus in countless community projects.

The annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hopewell United Methodist Church. Free and open to all.
Our neighbors in Texas are crying out. We see it on our televisions, on the internet and on social media. The Lord hears their cries and is calling us to serve as His hands and feet to deliver them from their troubles.

The Hopewell UMC Open Mic Night will be held on the second Friday in September due to the Labor Day Holiday weekend. So join in the fun on Friday September 8, as we take our music outdoors with a porch party!

The Hopewell community gathered at the Hopewell United Methodist Church on Aug. 16 to stand together against hate and injustice at a Community Peace Vigil sponsored by the Hopewell Council of Churches. It was an evening of prayer, song and a candlelight vigil and march through the borough. Attendees heard messages from Pastor Kate, leaders of other Hopewell Borough churches, and the mayor.
