A Celebration of Ministry at Hopewell UMC

On Sunday, July 2 we celebrated the first anniversary of Pastor Kate Hillis joining us as our Pastor at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, celebrated our ministry together over the past 12 months, and shared our vision for the future. During our morning worship, we officially launched our new motto (“Hope Starts Here”) and mission statement: “We are a home for people to be transformed by the love of God and grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Blessing of Animals & Community Picnic Held at Hopewell UMC

As part of its Earth Awareness month, Hopewell United Methodist Church held a Blessing of the Animals event on Sunday, May 7 at the church in Hopewell Borough. Pastor Kate Hillis and the members of the church celebrated Creation through a blessing the community’s pets and animal friends.
