Book Talk Series
The next Book Talk will take place this Tuesday, July 27 at 7 PM. We will be discussing the book “Any Minute” by Joyce Meyer. Copies of this book can be found on the library book cart.
Looking ahead to August, we will meet on Tues. Aug. 17 at 7 pm to discuss the book “Simple Gifts” by Lori Copeland. The books on the agenda for the next several months include: One Simple Act by Debbie Macomber, The Help by Kathryin Stockett, Behind Church Doors by Sylvia Brown-Roberts and On Strike for Christmas by Sheila Roberts.

Summer Fun for the family!
Join us for the Church Picnic! The Hopewell United Methodist Church picnic will be held on Sunday, August 8 from 12 Noon until 4 p.m. (Rain or Shine) at the home of Charles & Francina Case.
The Cases will provide the hamburgers/hot dogs, rolls and drinks. Everyone should bring a covered dish to share and any games that they’d like to play. They have quoits and wiffle ball. RSVP or questions, give them a call.
