This fall, the Hopewell United Methodist Church is getting ready for its annual Christmas bazaar. Your help is needed to make this event a success.
We’ve set a date for the annual church fundraising Christmas Bazaar – November 23. While it seems like a faraway date, but it will be here before we know it!
Here’s areas we need helpers and chefs!
Café – The Cafe will be serving soup and other foods for which we need volunteers. There is a signup sheet for soups posted on the Family Fun Board. If you enjoy making soup, stop by the board and see what kinds are needed. We are looking for 2 crock pots of each soup. We will also need some supplies for the cafe and a list of needed items will also be on the Family Fun Board. Perhaps you could help out with that. We’ll also need to borrow some card tables if you have one to lend.
Silent Auction – The Silent Auction is seeking donations of gift certificates, small gift baskets and gifts in general. See Kathy Berry for more information or to get a gift receipt for business owners and others who donate to the auction.
Volunteers – A general signup sheet for the day of the Bazaar has also been posted on the Family Fun Board. Please take a moment to sign up for an area that interests you. There will also be opportunities the week of November 17th to help set up tables, decorations for the Bazaar.
See Pat Grant if you can assist in any way.
