After pastoring the Hopewell United Methodist Church for 24 years, the Rev. Dr. Ken Robinson will hang up his clerical robe, and head off with his wife Ronda, and their dog Oliver to the sunny shores of North Carolina.
Pastor Robinson began his ministry in Hopewell in 1992. Over the years, he has faithfully preached the Gospel on Sunday mornings, during special community Thanksgiving Eve services at the Old School Baptist Church and at the Wednesday evening Lenten services and Easter Sunrise services, as part of the ministry program of the Hopewell Council of Churches.
To honor Pastor Robinson for his dedication and commitment to the Methodist church and the community of Hopewell, church members will host an Open House at the church on Sunday, June 12 from 12 noon until 3 p.m. You are invited to stop by for food and fellowship as we all say our goodbyes to Ken and Ronda and send them off with our best wishes on their retirement as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
