In response to the many recent natural disasters in the U.S. and elsewhere, the Hopewell Council of Churches conducted a collection for cleaning supplies and packaged 30 relief buckets during the Church Has Left the Building Day on Sunday, Nov 5.
Volunteers, pictured above, packed the buckets at the Hopewell UMC on Sunday. Thank you for your efforts in making the ‘cleaning supply buckets’ possible and helping get them ready for distribution to impacted areas.
The relief buckets will be distributed through the international response arm of the United Methodist Church, UMCOR. See more about their life-saving work on their website.
