United Methodist Women, the largest denominational, lay women of faith organization in the world, announced two grants were awarded for work to thwart suicide among LGBTQ youth. The two $50,000 grants went to The Trevor Project and Tyler Clementi Foundation for their work to prevent LGBTQ youth suicide.
United Methodist Women's meetings and events are open to women of all ages and backgrounds. Membership in the church is not required. UMW Meetings are usually held after worship time on Sundays. We support missions that help women, youth and children.
The Hopewell United Methodist Women will head to the Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, NJ, on the weekend of April 5-7, 2019 for a time of renewal, refreshment and relaxation. It is open to all women and their friends and relatives.
The Hopewell UMW will host a potluck dinner and blanket making on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6 – 9 pm. All are invited to come with a pot of soup (or something) and cut the no-sew fleece blankets.

The United Methodist Women are collecting diapers for HomeFront! The agency which helps homeless families in Mercer County is launching a month-long Diaper Challenge aimed at raising 100,000 diapers and baby wipes.
