The Hopewell United Methodist Women and Community Closet will present a workshop “Learn to UPCYCLE” on Saturday, June 2 from 12 PM – 2 PM at Hopewell United Methodist Church.
We will continue our first project – “Make a Denim Bag from Used Jeans!” We will offer more workshops in this series: Upcycled/Recycled Clothing & More!
Using clothing from the Hopewell Community Closet, or your own closet, learn how to snip, sew, embellish, and create new fashionable pieces for your wardrobe!
Learn about upcycling in an encouraging, warm and fun atmosphere. Get away from your worries for a bit and be creative!
Some sewing experience would be helpful, but not totally necessary. We have sewing machines and tools. You may bring your own tools, fabric, trims, too!
- Project 1: Drawstring Denim Bag from old blue jeans & other fabrics.
More projects to come! - Led by Hopewell United Methodist Women.
- Open to all in the community. No charge. RSVP BY EMAIL OR PHONE. Call 609-466-0471 or email connect@hopewellmethodist.org
The only limit is your imagination!
