We seek to serve the spiritual, physical, and mental needs of people in our community.
We open our sanctuary monthly to the community for Hopewell Open Mic nights, on the first Friday of each month. Musicians of all kinds come together to play, sing and connect. We also host monthly community concerts, which raise money for charities.
The Hopewell United Methodist Women gather to cut materials for shoes for children in Uganda – a project called “Sole Hope.” This is one of the many projects the UMW take on to serve others.
On the Sunday of Service, formerly known as the “Church Has Left the Building” Sunday, the church participates with the Hopewell Council Churches in multiple service projects. In 2018, we made blankets for Project Linus, which gives new blankets for children in need.
Our praise team serves in worship by leading us in song!
