The Greatest Gift

Join us at Christmas and Advent at Hopewell UMC

What’s on your Christmas list this year? How about the greatest gift of all?

Sometimes we concentrate so much on the gifts we want to give and to receive that we forget about the special gifts of Christmas.

The truth is we need the miracle of God’s grace to see them, feel them, hear them, wrap our arms around them, and celebrate them.

Throughout the month of December, Hopewell UMC has a variety of ways for you and your family to experience God’s grace and take a break from the hussle and bussle of the holiday season.  Join us for Worship, Adult Sunday School Advent Study, or our Sunday Advent Family Celebration.

Advent Sermon Series “The Greatest Gift”

December 1- December 22, Sundays 10 AM*

Join us for worship Sundays at 10am throughout the month of December as we celebrate the four Sundays in Advent by lighting the Advent Wreath and recognizing the gifts of hope, love, joy, and peace.

  • Dec. 1 – The Gift of Peace
  • Dec. 8 – The Gift of Hope
  • Dec. 15 – The Gift of Joy and our Annual Christmas Cantata (music program)
  • Dec. 22 – The Gift of Love and our Annual Children’s Christmas Pageant

*Nursery and Sunday School for children ages 0-5th grade available during all worship services.

Dec. 24, 5pm
Christmas Eve candlelight service – “The Greatest Gift”
(Nursery care available.)
